Doyle plays Dog House Guernsey

This live show was recorded by Lou Mann from New York. It was a very high-pressure gig for Doyle, mainly because he was playing on home soil and had invited all his mates from his local running club! Doyle played a duet with guitarist Gary Pickard. They had both finished off a new album of tracks that Mick Doyle had written and they wanted to perform them live. Additionally, Mick wanted to play some of the Nashville stuff.

The Gig went down well and will make a wonderful historical archive for future fans from foreign territories. Mick was forced to play guitar all the way through, and hates doing this because he says he cannot concentrate on his vocals as well. Ho hum, he still sounded great!! Pickard was extremely diverse and so clearly talented, what a pair!

Doyle said, ‘I wanted to go home at half time, then at the end I wanted to give up music all together. When I got home Lou played the DVD back to me and I wanted to be a musician again. Strange thing rock n roll you know!!”
