New Album Tracks in Production

Doyle are presently recording their first two cover tracks, Power of Love (Frankie Goes to Hollywood version) and Crystal Ship (Doors).
The bass player is Dermot McKlusky, the electric guitarist is Gary Pickard, the drummer is Louie Palmer and the producer is Paul Castle.

Additionally, they are recording a further 10 original tracks written by Mick as well as a theme song for the London Marathon.

The featured special recording stars include the famous Israeli musician Gillad on saxaphone.

Midem Music Conference

Doyle Album is finally mastered ready for the Midem Music Conference. “It sounds really nice, especially as we have had two years to think about the tracks. It features one of the Nashville recordings (the Second Coming) and the running order begins with the short and snappy, ‘Twenty Four Days’. I believe that 2008 is the year for mass distribution of this album across a multitude of territories. Thank God, it has been a long road.

I went out for run and and received a flash of inspiration. I suddenly realised that maybe traveling half way round the world and spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on music wasn’t doing it my way. The word’s of ‘My Way’ are the most crucial words a person can ever learn. The message is, whatever you do, do it your way, and if you fail, at least you did it your way.

My way was always to set up my own label and help myself and other acts get to the top through hard work and sheer bloody mindedness. Not to listen to the world of others, but to hear only my inner voice, telling me what to do. Inviting me to take courage. I suddenly realised that I need nothing other than what I already have, and so happily I decided to take my music project into my own hands.
